You don’t have to do anything special to be God’s princess

If you love God and are saved, you are automatically his child. He loves you always. God says that his children are royalty!  1 Peter 2:9 says: But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. (ESV) In other words, You have been made royalty; not to show off yourself but to shine for Jesus and glorify our amazing creator!

1 Peter 3:4 lays out what a real princess should be:

“But let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious.” God doesn’t care about your clothes or hair. He loves you for what you are. He loves you for what’s in your heart. Notice the line “which in God’s sight is very precious.”

Get out there and hold your head up high because you are God’s princess. He has chosen you to be his forever. NEVER be ashamed of your heritage and awesomeness.

Princess Qualities are listed in Proverbs 31: 25 & 26:

25 “She is clothed with strength and dignity;

she can laugh at the days to come.

26 She speaks with wisdom,

and faithful instruction is on her tongue.”

A princess tries her best in everything. “She is clothed with strength and dignity.” As a daughter of the king, you have a right to be unafraid of the future because God is in control of everything and he has your well being in mind.

“ She speaks with wisdom….” Basically, as you grow in Jesus, you learn more about him and you gain knowledge from your mistakes.
